When I began training with Lori I had been dormant, so to speak, for a few years. I’d just had my second child and was dealing with “split abs” from my pregnancy along with an old shoulder injury.  I was feeling a bit defeated and was in need of some serious motivation and encouragement. It’s been 6 months and Lori has been able to help me work with & around my injuries. She has helped me strengthen support muscle groups to protect my injuries and has also taken me to a new personal level of core strength. I was totally new to Pilates when I started working with Lori. After about 10 months it is truly amazing how strong and flexible I have become. After my second child, who is now 6, I tried everything to get my core strong again. I have literally done sit ups until I’m blue and did not have results. After working with Lori I have finally started to lose inches while feeling empowered and strong. I do everything different with my body now engaging different muscles when I’m biking, running, skiing and doing the dishes so my body is working as a whole not always the same muscles working overtime. I feel balanced. It is really remarkable how my posture is more erect (I was a sloucher). Pilates is something I will continue for the rest of my life. It is a continued challenge and just plain feels awesome!! It is a whole body work out as well as core focus which I love! My arms, legs, and glutes are working just as much as my core. Lori is an excellent trainer and is fantastic at cueing me to work the body parts I’m aiming for. I couldn’t ask for more support while motivating me to go further.
